Shares Broker

Thanks Orang Trad, very long and informative post.
I had a quick look at the list of brokers you provided.

Internaxx seems very very expensive indeed, 28 EUR per order, that's crazy.

By the way, I am from Belgium and have an interest in French shares but had a look at some US brokers and believe I will invest in US shares actually.

WHselfinvest looks great but they do CFDs only, not shares, so it's not for me.

I made some research and found MBtrading.
They seem very professional, commissions are $$ upto 10,000 shares. What do you think of this broker. is there anything cheaper?

Thanks

Shortbleu,
You are forgetting the imposition rate of 30% on the gains you may realise on the transactions of US stocks. If I remember right, there are no taxes on stock market related gains in Belgium, so you better take this parameter into account.

Who does he pay the 30% to? Foreigners don't pay tax to IRS.

Have you looked at Boursorama ? Did some research a while back and tehy seemed the best of the lot.
Swissquote is Swiss obviously, that's another one. Expensive (Swiss eh) but good range of services.
