If you were to solely use trading to make the first million how much capital would you start with and risking how much?

How many years would you take to do it all again?

It seems extremely slow at first to me with low capital lol...

I'm just waiting for setups every day..

Thanks! I have had my struggles along the way, so just want to be transparent---

I would suggest you find a proprietary trading firm that will back you with capital and knowledge to reach your goal.

If not, truth is, it's doable on your own -- but you need to take big risks that means you can lose your trading stake easily.

I don't want to give u exact figures since everyone is different.

Please remember this is just my opinion. Other traders may disagree.

Ps--- someone who is very succesful and knowledable in the trading "business" is Baron who owns this site. I often bounce ideas off of him for his well reasoned opinion--- reaching out to him for guidance is a smart move IMO. This influenced me--

My aim is 3 years. After 3 years I should have the first million lol...

Sorry if I sound annoying..

Any important things I should watch out of? I know to not over leverage and do stupid things like that. It just seems extremely slow at first because of my capital size, but I want to be consistent for a few weeks/months before risking larger and larger. It is kind of boring though, just waiting for setups every day.

Guys, I opened a 10mil account with IB with a well defined business plan a while ago.
First year went smooth as planned and for Christmas the account only showed mid 7 digits.
But ever since hardly anything went as planned, the yuan has been devalued a tremendous 2 percent and Missus wears a miniskirt when she goes shopping, not even using my cc anymore I'm afraid.
Anyway I can't seem to be able to break the 4 million bar.
Any advice from the Elite to a novice willing to go bankrupt but facing an efficient market ?
