SGX A50 Index future

Missed my PT by about 10 ticks, total weakness.. action is going to get weird around here at these lows IMO.. Govt could come along in the last 30 minutes and start buying as they have been the past few days.
 
Yeah, I have been really debating on going long...but everytime I get close to doing it another 200pt drop has hit, so I haven't touched it yet

The SGX was in discussion with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) in January this year with regards to when it can start listing options on the futures. Obviously, the SGX wants this to happen ASAP.

However, with all the recent developments coming from the CSRC, I highly doubt they will approve anytime soon, even though in theory (and practice) these options can assist with risk management to the down side.

I won’t trade this future until they list, and to also note, if I did trade it now, I would be scalping the short side – my god don’t scalp longs in a literally crashing, deflating market.

Last night I could see it on 5 second and 30 second both. Not sure if it was a bad print or not.

Yeah, the majority of my trades on it (not very many) have been shorts. I've just done a couple longs
