Sessions Out

Trump has nothing to lose now so as bad as it looks he is going straight for interfering with the Mueller investigation.

He better than anyone knows what financial crimes etc. he has been found to have committed.

Some people choose suicide by cop, Donny is doing suicide by GOP. Takes a bit longer.
 
I think it was a mistake to ask Sessions to resign now. He should have waited until Mueller finished his investigation.

I think it is a great thing.

It will likely massively accelerate the time table and keep Mueller from dragging this out to the next election. This way either Trump is a criminal and Mueller brings the prosecution now... or it ends.

I was concerned Mueller may have something on Trump but determine he could not prosecute while Trump was in office so Mueller's strategy would be to just build the case for 2 more years and see what happens.

That waiting game is not likely to happen now. I would now bet something happens before next summer. Maybe sooner.

Sessions is a good guy but had too many friends in the swamp. He could have started a real investigation into the 2016 DNC who actually was the one that colluded with Russian operatives. That is a well known fact. My guess is that anyone new will get this real investigation going.

Agree---I have stated publicly that Sessions is part of The Swamp. There can be no other explanation.

As much as I loved Sessions as a senator, he was not up to being AG. He was weak and the career staff seemed to have him intimidated. He should have thrown Rosenstein to the wolves and how is Bruce Ohr still employed there and not being prosecuted? We have sanctuary cities all over the place and some, like Portland, are basically in insurrection. Sessions never did a damn thing about it. The goons in Portland put an ICE office under siege and the local authorities refused to get involved. Sessions did nothing.
