There is a lot of truth to this. Though, I'm not allowed to stay that without getting called a Nazi sympathizer, etc. I've also been called an Israeli sympathizer as well. I guess I just can't win, lol.

The latest figures I read about 20 mins ago, is SBF's parents have 4 MM on the line with the bail. The other millions are... future value based.

Reminds me of Enron doing their futures/mark-to-market thing... Book future profits TODAY, even though you're down billions in the present. There was a good reason this was prohibited until Enron's influence in government got them to change the accounting standards.

And while on that note... remember when Pro Forma became a thing during the dot-.com bubble? Oh yea, that's what caused the dot-.com bust too. Who needs GAAP, when that is so old-school and standardized...
 
I trust Bahamian officials a million times more than the white glove treatment he gets in the US by his friends in power. At least he was locked up and in handcuffs in the Bahamas. Fact is this guy is treated better than anyone in the middle class, and that after syphoning billions from investors and customers to finance his extravagant lifestyle, illegally funnelling funds into subsidiaries and financing his slut's amphetamine addiction.

This was a simple trade...Cut a bail deal,or risk fighting extradition for 4 years....
