There is truth to it. Germany tried every diplomatic means to regain the territory that was taken away from her. All means failed except war as the only option.

Keynes wrote about this. But no one wanted to listen to him BEFORE his predictions came true, and a lot don't even seem to study Keynes now... or they go too full-bore the opposite extreme.

The fact remains though, as soon as the kids start to throw insults around yelling 'Nazi' or Hitler, instead of looking at facts, there is no point in continuing. They'll just drop you down to their level of stupidity and beat you with experience.

This is another reason why we are always bound to repeat history. And the stockmarket stands testament to that.
