Serious Traders Group

I set up a few private threads on this site in the past, but most who joined do not trade regularly.

If anyone is interested in joining a new group for serious traders, then please PM me with your interest.

If you do not trade regularly, then it is not for you. No FX traders please - any other market is welcome - stocks, commodities, options, futures, bonds - or, the usual suspects!

There will be no pressure or any bullshit - just a place for a group of serious traders to have some serious discussion, away from all the usual rubbish!

Thx.

Talking shites all the time? But isn't that what you are exactly doing in most threads? Seriously mate, look up your past posts. Each thread has the "I can't discuss this right now as I am gardening at the moment". You are one of the least serious people in this endeavor.

And why no fx traders? Because there are more losers than those trading other asset classes? But I thought you anyway want to invite only serious traders so why trying to make a difference? Or do serious fx traders know too much about macro that you find hard to follow?

Seriously I am confused. Not looking to disrespect you but your talking about gardening virtually all the time and now interest in serious traders somehow sounds contradicting.

Will reply to you later, as I am cutting the grass and then have some more hedge to trim:D

Yesterday, I was tidying up some cuttings from hedge - spotted a bumble bee on his back at base of hedge.

I said to myself, will I put him out of his misery, or take a few minutes of my time to see if I can help him.

I got a leaf, turned him over, a few times, as he kept falling back - he was covered in pollen!

Eventually he climbed up on to a few blades of grass, flapped his wings a few time without success, and then, lo and behold, one big effort and up he went, buzzing his way back to the hive.

I continued to clean up the leaves, happy and content with what I had done for the buzy bee:)

See, look at the difference between this post and the aussie's post!

S75, I will keep you informed, as we have not yet agreed to work on the order entry platform for TWS - if that happens all my spare time will be taken up.

Thank you for your reply.

You said it had no value whatsoever. Fairly ignorant statement.

Ok, maybe the wrong wording - it can have perceived value, like many other things, but will never reveal the true picture of what the overall intent is.

I didn't say it was worthless; I said it was very, very overrated.

If you truly believe that, then I would have serious doubts about your capabilities.

Sure, if you use volume in some kind of supplemental role, fine, but since it's very, very important, how do you utilize it in your trading then?

To verify S&R levels!

You are confused, because you are too young, and think you know it all!

Your statement about my gardening shows how unobservant you are - which means you are the same when trading!

A lot of gardening = no mortage, semi-retired, no pressure, plenty of time, adequate capital, and most of all....a nice garden:D

Think before you open your big mouth again - next time it might be a bee instead of a fly, that goes in:rolleyes:

+ Gardening has a lot to teach to a trader.
Not only Boxing or I don't know what.

Anything that brings peace and calm into your life is good for you, thus, will affect your trading.

Plus, recently I done a nice few trades on NQ one evening - my eyes were sore, my back ached, and I got all irritable - fuk that I said to myself, no more than 2 hours max at this shite when I get back fulltime - which means key time trading from 09.30 to 11.30 NY time.

Looking like this winter now, as I still have a lot to do in the garden:D

True. No need to spend an infinite amount of time in front of the screens.
The first two hours provide way enough opportunities for a trader.
Markets don't move 80% of the time. Open is the best session.
Outside of Macro Event Days which can eventually flatten it.
It's not enough to work hard. One has to work smart !
I am done for today. Outside open I bullshit x10.
Because of Chops & Ambiguous behaviors.
That's why volume matters, too !!!!
No Vol .. No move, clear bias.

By the way. No need Privacy to talk business.
Privacy foster way more BS than public exposure.
Well ... It's a double edged sword. Signal to Noise decrease.

IMHO

After you can trash the noisy people...
