Series 56 - LOL Thread

Quote from chicagobears:

I passed today. Read the PassPerfect and memorized the practice questions. They're all not accurate as stated by others.

I studied for about 45 hrs or so total and got a 74.

I preferred the Eurex exam in 2002. At least with them all the questions were there and you could just memorize those.

I'm certain that anyone here who thought this was difficult should NOT be trading.

Maybe we are not on the same planet, but i thought and certainly still do maintain that this was a tough test. I am no dummy. I did receive A's in calculus as well as physics. I studied real hard for all of these subjects. As noted earlier, i studied my tail off and got an 80% on my first try. The assumption that one should not be trading just because they cannot pass a test which is largely irrelevant to the day in and day out aspects of trading is ludicrous.

From your earlier post...

Quote from arbs-r-us:

I'm no genius, just happen to have been around this since 1982.

By that logic, anyone who went to medical school 30 years ago can tell a resident, "if you feel the boards were difficult, then you "should not be a doctor", lol!

You're entitled to your opinion, to each his own.

Quote from drayton sawyer:

ok petrobras, how do you feel that the series 56 benefits a trader or society at large?

It keeps the regulatory staff at the CBOE gainfully employed.
