Series 56 - LOL Thread

I thought you got an exception if you have or had S7?
 
Exemption is not automatic, and I was informed by my firm that my case for exemption was weak compared to other traders in the firm. They advised me to take the 56.
 
I failed with a 56%. The CBOE manual was garbage. I didn't even read half and really had nothing to do with the questions they gave me. I think I'll go with pass perfect to get me over the hump on my re take.
 
The cboe manual is complete garbage. i cannot believe they put out such an inferior product and charges 99.00. all i can say is that they got me!! i have not taken the test yet, but am focusing on the pass perfect guide which seems very comprehensive to me. so much to know. the book has so much detail giving a much better foundation of knowledge. i have probably over 100 hours of study time in so far, and if i fail, i will be surprised. i have totally gone overboard studying and plan to keep studying for about 4 hours everyday on average. studying for this thing has become an obsession with me!! i was always a great student conquering calculus with A's as well as anything i put my mind to. i am still waiting for my opportunity to take the test. i can't wait to see what happens!!with my luck i will fail by 1 point!!

I am not at a cbsx firm firstly... cboe actually, and secondly the top of the GSA pay scale for an entire year wouldn't cover a single month of my nut. I'm no genius, just happen to have been around this since 1982.
 
Hey Drayton, please let us know how the passperfect worked on your exam. I took the exam already twice with a 56% and a 64%, (So close!!!) Now I am going through the passperfect material for my next attempt, I used in house material for the first one and Cboe Study Guide for the second one without luck. I hope that with the accumulation of the in house material, cboe practice questions and pass perfect study guide I will be passing with an over 80% final score. Good luck guys..!!!
