series 55

I had heard back in June that you no longer need the series 55 to trade equities.

is this true?

Depends on what Exchange your firm is a member of and what State you're in. We only require for Missouri.

I believe assent is a member of the nyse, no? So would they still require the 55 then?

yes, assent requires the 7,55, and 63. that is fact.
