I was having fun trading remarks back and forth today. I have never claimed to be a hero at trading.. I have never claimed to be the trading GURU.. all i did today was make a call and try to get others to follow it. THat is all that I did and it was a lot of fun. AS far as sounding like a twelve year old.. that just might be because I am over thirty years old and I can be a kid whenever I want.. do you want to know why?
Because ever since I finished college on a full ride mind you!

1. I never had a boss
2. Never had a salary
3. Never had a certain number of sick days
4. Never had to ask for vacation time
5. never had a real commute
6. Never had to answer to anyone
But at the same tim eI have made numerous social contacts in the trading world primarily the CME and nymex.

So at this point I am not about to start answering to a GD idiot like you who thinks a stupid blotter posted at the end of the day is the holy grail on who is or is not real. I do not claim to be rich or wealthy .. I make a great living on my own terms and that is all I need to know. I had the balls to make my calls.. i could have been wrong.. but you know what I felt like I was going to hit it out of the park today and I wanted anyone else who would listen to jump on board and do the same. You most likely did not read every post I made today, but if you did you would see that I told people .. i could be wrong and trading is risky.
However, if you also go back to my posts form months ago you will see that I tend to make some good calls.. and I also as everyone does tend to make some bad calls.. i had a blast today and hopefully some people learned a little from my play by play. Trust me it was as real as it gets.

p.s. if you are looking for someone who write in a more complicated fashion you might check out Jack Hershey

I will be startign a FREE BLOG and CHAT for TRading one day .. it will be free but it si going to be conducive to real traders and trading.

Fair enough. I assume people have strong reactions because there's so much crap here. Although your exuberance could have easily been associated with the usual nonsense around here, you don't seem like one of those idiots. Anyone can say anything, but even if you're lying, it doesn't really matter.

This place is obviously more entertainment than education, so these threads will never go away. Good call, for what it's worth.

If you post up screen shots, so much the better. But either way, I'd choose to believe you. Unless I put money on the line, I have little reason not to.
 
jack angel i do not pick exact entries or exits for people.. so posting a screen shot doesn't make a lot of sense. I appreciate your kind words and yes I am not a poser.

I think a lack of confidence is exactly what stops peopel from becoming good traders...

People do not need to be told to buy it here and get out here.. they can see teh charts.. they know how to do that..what people need is someone rooting them on .. giving them the okay..
saying .. Hey I am getting long here .. mkt is selling off and I am buying more.. etc.. We need more intra day sentiment not indicators and systems ..

IN every profession people are coached not coached on intricate details.. they are coached by positive reinforcement.. two doctors may be excellent surgeons yet perfom teh surgeries differently.. so if I need open heart surgery they will perfom it confidently.. so If i say its time to buy then I use my tools and skills to buy at my levels and exit at my levels.. vice versa for selling!

Too many get lost in the details of a tick or two .. rather than trying to DAY trade .. hodl for a TARGET and hold for a LOSS.

Tomorrow depending on what happens to the financials and leh.. i will most likely buy on a dip.. if they run the market up strongly in the first hour then i sell the highs.. but not all day .. i watch and look for indications of people buying on dips then.. when everyone is spooked out I step in and buy ?

OF course this could change by tomorrow at 10 am.

Thanks again, but I was never expecting that huge of a rally..remmebr I was only looking for 50 points
 
Cool. Screenshots would only be to prove that you've made the trades and have real money on the line, not to back up claims of entries and exits (which you quite reasonably don't focus on). It's always nice to see more than talk on the Internet, and it would silence at least some detractors. Of course, I'm not suggesting that I don't believe you.

Perhaps you can teach me a thing or three via IM/PM/email.

dasq.. I owe you nothing .. absolutely nothing ...you are so insanely jealous... I really don't understand the entire idea of posting screen shots.. big deal. I tell you what I will go back into my precious posts and find a couple that i posted and you can see them. I traded with MF global.. and guess what I didn't have any margin.. i could put on any size I wanted.. it was a flaw in the system that was given to traders so they could get faster fills with the manxpress platform. I had it. Evan dooley ruined it for a lot of people.. anyway. I will post a screenshot of my house how does that sound.. just a little somethign to make you even more jealous. i know you will say its not mine.. i know you will say all that .. lol but believe me it is my house.. sits on ten acres.. i have 16 garage doors and 14,000 square feet in the main house and 5000 in the guest house with a pond out front. I have an M% 2008 with seats that electronically lock your lateral as i turn the wheel, a ferrari f 430, a yellow hummer with a whipple supercharger and a stupid race car that i put 350K into over the years. Yup I have all of this stuff and you want to see my blotter or trades or something.. too funny.

through ice platform, but i got approval from MF global... .. Ice can set all paramters as MF global sets them..i.e. fat finger error number of contracts.. reduced margins etc. I can also use teh M trade pro (jtrader platform) or express.. but trading on the actual ICe platform is much easier and faster. If you call your FCm and you have a good relationship then they should approve you. This is another benefit of not using Interactive brokers etc. I have been with Man for six years.

You can go to the ice website and get a free trial for the platform.
It is an amazingly quick platform.. 7 millisecond latencybottom of thias post is screenshot
