why do people over 60 or seniors so interested in 'gambling' lotteries, slot machines.

I mean who cares about making money or getting rich at age 75?

The average age of death is now 85. used to be 75

I gather or presume it's past time rather than a making money venture?

BTW, gambling is for fools. especially in lotteries. and slot machines. the (Gods)odds are against you!

Shit, that be a step up for me, I see 1-2 doctors a week buddy, death been following me around for ten years. What grandkids, spent most of my time between trading and traveling the globe and USA. I still have a great deal more life to go, more business ventures, younger women, when you my age, almost everyone is younger ROFLMAO. Thinking of buying some ponies for racing even, use to bet on them when I was younger, so every business has it's "edge" And women love horses. Like once you done the big house and fast cars, you get older, big house too much walking and damn cars too low to the ground, get me a old pick up truck any day. Time for my Geritol and prunes buddy LOL

What is Buffet's and Jim Rogers' age?
 
May be you got an expensive health issue or a loved one, like son/daughter, nieces, maybe grandkids need help with educational payments, maybe social security plus 401k is not enough !?, I can think of many reasons as to why a person in their 70s might be interested in making money, come on now, why so naive?

Slot machines/casino goers/gamblers...enjoy that lively environment...with all that visual and audio stimuli. and even smell stimuli.

And maybe some are just completely delusional into thinking their time of divine jackpot winning will come.
They love that, maybe romantic, idea of striking it rich.
They are not the smart, analytical, rational, professional types.

If you were to teach those casino goers and gamblers the general ideas and concepts of trading and investing and business development...they wouldn't be interested. Because there is no magical lights and sound and flashing instant riches.
They are not truly interested in the money, per se....but rather the Drug...that casinos provide.

Even the shock market has many of those types. -- It's important, and vital, that you don't become like that.
Human nature can be as complex and dynamic...as the millions or even billions of electrical brain impulses and charges that goes off in our brains every second.

But more importantly, it's 2018...High-Five`o_O, :confused: ...this is the year...to Make Trading and Your Life Great Again,

Yep. Can't spend the money they've got. But they love the lottery.

Well. my dad is 85, and he is as sharp as a tack. Plays golf, pickleball, tennis. Good genes :)

Whatever interests or obsessions somebody has in their 40s will still be there when they are 75 or 90. Age deteriorates us physically+mentally but not our obsessions.
