Sen. Shelby Introduces 17% Flat Tax

Agreed. Not long ago, I realized the entire system is designed to be this way. The psychopaths at the top won't let go of their little fiefdoms and work hard to expand their tentacles. So we get this perpetual march towards tyranny, poverty, war, corruption etc. Problem is, if we acquiesce to it and throw in the towel, in a few decades, it'll be North Korea.

Exactly. It isn't the progressive tax system that is the problem. We have a Tax system that is impossible to completely understand, an unfair system with tax shelters, deductions, credits it's insane. I don't think there is a chance in hell there will be a complete overhaul or that it would really change things. Look at our congress, don't you think the could complicate a flat tax. I think the solution is fix it a bite at a time, which won't happen either, so all we're left with is a bullshit session on chat forum.

Exactly. This is just meaningless conjecture. We're good people. We want to make a better world. But God hasn't granted any of us the power.

What we need to do is get organized, get money, fund politicians, start PAC's, buy media, expose corruption etc.
