They do this a lot on Amazon. They will say the book is new but
the dust jacket is missing and there is just one giant tear on the
front cover... but it is still in new condition... funny... :p

No, because i am in asia, and posting each individualy
cost much more for shipment.

You know you can go for the creative financing rout.

Just (If the books are as good as you say) go to Borders and return them. They will give you full credit. Then you can take the credit and buy other books you are interested in.

Be creative. Now you can get the meditation books you wanted.

$350 was the starting bid in ebay, and the price was quoted for 14 books (now is 16 books altogether)
