Sell Short on E-trade (problem)

All of my sell short orders (on 5 different tickers), got rejected this morning, saying no shares to borrow.

Yesterday and in several months prior they have all been available.

Is there a problem with their short supply, or the server where they get them from, or any does anyone have any info?

It happens. The file where the information on short sale availability is stored gets corrupted and denies the availability of stock to borrow for shorting. It is usually cleared up by the time the regular session opens.
