What is the next technology?
As we speak there is a new crypto coin born every day or so . You can bet there will be more advanced coins to come . Surely the big names will have their own coins unless this is just a fad .
What is the next technology?
I am not sure what exactly is implied by "brain washed". I have educated myself enough about the technology to believe that there is a fair probability this will be the next big thing. Is it guaranteed? By no means. I am very sober about the risks of owning crypto (which is why my "allocation" is so tiny). As I said, I treat it (as well as some of my other investments) as cheap optionality.
Bitcoin as a product evolves too (my limited understanding is that there have been technology upgrades and new ones are in the works), its the "network" that stays the same. Same goes for the operating systems or cell phones.
Old versions of these operating systems and mobiles are worthless . Same will happen to Bitcoin .
Now in this time and age what kind of sloppy transaction that takes hours - Bitcoin transaction - will be acceptable . For God's sake PayPal and credit cards take seconds to accomplish a transaction .
Current crypto technology looks outdated already and impractical with all this useless electricity consuming and mining .
And even if Bitcoin network is here to stay that doesn't warrant the current parabolic prices . Tech prices go down not up .
What is the next technology?
Plenty!
Bitcoin is based on difficulty of getting a matching hash as the number of cases/zeroes increases. Revolutionary? Hardly. As a graduate with emphasis on IT security and solid grounding in mathematics, I am appalled that is all it took to create a 'value' that rose 300,000 times in 9 years.
Maybe for the next crypto, why don't we aim to 'mine' for the next perfect numbers -
A perfect number is a number that is the sum of its divisors (excluding itself). Example 6 is a perfect number because 6 = 1 + 2 +3, sum of its divisors(factors). These numbers are numerous, and possibly finite; also difficulty of getting them computationally increases as the numbers mined increases. There goes the next bitcoin, and hey I can mine the first few of them for free for myself: 6, 28, 496, 8128.
However unlike cryptocoins you can't make diamond out of thin air
First off, let me just say that actually buying or selling cryptocurrency on an exchange is super easy.
