Few people are likely to understand self sabotage more than traders. While it’s an innate tendency in almost all of us, traders get to experience it more often and more directly than most others. If you’ve traded for any period of time, you know what I’m talking about. It seems like whenever things start to go well, you find a way to mess it up. It almost feels like you want yourself to fail. The self-sabotaging patterns showed up as super-confidence in my approach to trading.
I have to say I am VERY lucky to have now sorted my self-sabotaging patterns.
It's now about continueing to test for few more weeks to see if the self-sabotaging behaviour has now been really dealt with, and most importantly has not morphed into another unhealthy pattern.
