We don't have to raise taxes or cut social services. We just need to cut the military budget.

2010 defense budget was 683 billion
2010 deficit was 1.3 trillion

1.3 trillion - 683 billion = 681.7

If you took the entire defense budget off of 2010 spending you are left with a 681.7 billion dollar deficit.

I used 2010 cause i couldnt find 2011 and 2012 isnt done. The numbers will be the same.
