This is the most ridiculous statement I have ever read... other than the other times I have read something in salon.

First of all increasing immigration might be important for sustaining govt welfare pyramid schemes but taking in unskilled immigrants and potential terrorists is not good for a true free market economy. so I doubt any free market economists would claim we are in a "free market" situation here. In a true free market... few people would spend money to to an economy which is not employing them... however they will travel for handouts.
I will debate anyone from any school with any degree at anytime on that subject. Its like selling premium... eventually the system blows up.
