Self funding billionaire lying and begging for money

Baron could learn a thing or two

I recall one trading vendor who started to do thia kind of messaging. He was so persistent I began to think I was on a list of people he had bet his life on he could make a sale to. He kept changing his source email addresses, he even rang me twice.

On realising he got my name via a trading software company I told them to stop him or it was FINRA/SEC time and that ended it.

But in hindsight, he was less pushy than this message.

“Money concerns are very real for President Trump’s campaign — an unusual predicament for a sitting president, and one that worries veteran Republican operatives, with Trump so far behind in swing states as the race climaxes,” Axios reports.

“The campaign’s view is that Trump will get his message out, and he depends less on paid media than normal politicians. But the number of states Trump has to worry about has actually grown, and Joe Biden’s massive August fundraising haul has given his campaign a lift as early voting begins.”

The AP reports the Trump campaign had pulled most TV ads over the previous week, ceding the airwaves to Biden, who was outspending Trump by more than 10 to 1.

New York Times: “The light television spending and advertising blackouts in some key states have mystified allies.”

Politico: “Back in early September, Trump weighed spending as much as $100 million of his own money on his reelection bid, according to Bloomberg News. When asked by reporters if he planned to self-fund part of his run, Trump said, ‘If I have to, I would.'”

“But the money has not materialized. Trump has contributed just over $8,000 to his campaign this election cycle, according to FEC data.”

Trump’s campaign is raising money for a prolonged political and legal fight long after Nov. 3 and recently began automatically checking a box to withdraw additional weekly contributions from online donors through mid-December — nearly six weeks after Election Day,” the New York Times reports.

Can't wait to read the story months from now where snowflakes didn't know they signed up for monthly withdrawal from their checking account.....

Trump launches new communications platform months after Twitter, Facebook ban

The space will allow Trump to post comments, images, and videos

Former President Trump on Tuesday launched a communications platform, which will eventually give him the ability to communicate directly with his followers, after months of being banned from sites like Twitter and Facebook.

The platform, "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump" appears on www.DonaldJTrump.com/desk.

The space will allow Trump to post comments, images, and videos.

The technology appears to be powered by Campaign Nucleus— the "digital ecosystem made for efficiently managing political campaigns and organizations," created by his former campaign manager, Brad Parscale.

The space allows Trump to post, and allows followers to share the former president’s posts to Twitter and Facebook, however, the new platform does not have a feature to allow users to "reply" or engage with Trump’s posts.

"This is just a one-way communication," one source familiar with the space told Fox News. "This system allows Trump to communicate with his followers."

Trump’s new platform surfaced Tuesday, after advisers had told Fox News that the former president planned to "move forward" to create a social media platform of his own after being banned from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat after the Capitol riot.

"President Trump’s website is a great resource to find his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office, but this is not a new social media platform," senior advisor Jason Miller told Fox News. "We’ll have additional information coming on that front in the very near future."

The rollout of the platform also comes just a day before Facebook's Oversight Board is expected to announce its decision on whether to indefinitely suspend Trump from Facebook and Instagram.

The board in January accepted a case referral from Facebook to examine the ban, as well as to provide policy recommendations on suspensions when the user is a political leader.

Facebook moved to block Trump "indefinitely" after the Jan. 6 riot in the U.S. Capitol, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg saying that they "believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great."

Regardless of Facebook’s decision Wednesday a Twitter spokesperson told Fox News that Trump is permanently suspended from tweeting.

A Facebook spokesperson declined to comment on Trump's new platform. A Twitter spokesperson did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

However, people close to Mr. Trump said he has stridently refused to pay Mr. Giuliani," the Times reports.

As a federal investigation into Rudy Giuliani heats up, people advising him are reaching out to Donald Trump's circle, pressuring them the former president to help out with Giuliani's legal bills, The New York Times reports.

Giuliani is also being sued for defamation by two voting machine companies for claiming that they helped orchestrate mass voter fraud in the 2020 election. Giuliani's advisers want the Trump campaign to tap into the $250 million it raised in the weeks after the election to help Giuliani with his legal expenses.

"I want to know what the GOP did with the quarter of $1 billion that they collected for the election legal fight," Bernard Kerik, the former New York City police commissioner, wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

Kerik added that "lawyers and law firms that didn't do" much work were paid handsomely, while those who worked hard "got nothing."

People familiar with the matter told the Times that Kerik made similar complaints to some of Trump's advisers in private.

"Some of Mr. Giuliani's supporters have blamed Mr. Trump's aides — and not the former president — for the standoff. However, people close to Mr. Trump said he has stridently refused to pay Mr. Giuliani," the Times reports.
