Self Directed IRA service to invest in a hedge fund

Has anyone here ever used a Self Directed IRA service to invest in a hedge fund? I want to use my Roth IRA to invest in a hedge fund and would like a recommendation please.

Thank you,

look at the following custodian, they are the lowest cost and pretty flexible... there are a number of them, but honestly this one was the best I found...

the simplest way is to create an IRA LLC, then do a private placement to it, and then invest from the IRA LLC to the fund...

a pretty good attorney to use for the IRA LLC is...

+1 on a custodian.

You have money for a hedge fund but don't have a trust company? Are you a drug dealer?

Try equity trust. Or any big company with "trust".
