Yes...I found several posts on different forums where people said exactly these words. I know it sounds awful. Also, there are many cases when their spouses can't make them wear hearing aids, so both of them suffer.

No, you know why? On the application they ask if you've ever threatened to shoot someone. Naturally I checked the "No" box.

Any pistol even a .22 pistol is loud;
.22 rifle with 24 inch barrel = fine.
I thinks its the .22 Sonic bullets that dont break the sound barrier or something like that- they are notable quiet.
Mainly, use ear muffs when target SHOOTING;
shooting a varmint/LOL ,dont really notice the noise much, especially when you hit the varmint...................................................................................30-06, 12 gauge are a bit loud.
