So I see your chart is indeed CLEAN (maybe too clean). Do you not use lines like trendline and S/R? I think they would help a lot if you do. It can help you not only with setting stoploss but also with profit targets. Anyway, I wish you the very best.

I use lines but we don’t see them on the screenshot.
They’re indeed useful to structure the bet.
Risk, Reward, Frequencies ...

It’s great to set and forget,
A CLEAN chart is a perpetual analysis,
Review once and highlight what’s important.
But too much drawings is information overload.

We quantify then deduce an inefficiency.

The plan was to short 2880,
But I went in early.

Kept shorting higher high,
Ended the day -5 MES @ 2865 (Average)

I expect the ES to make a low around 2800.
Since the MES maintenance is 1200,
And that I only have 5K

I believe they will close my position.
Holding overnight is new to me,
So I take it as an experiment.

Not a good 1st day overall.

They closed 2 contracts
So I am -3 MES @ 2870 (Average).

Daily PnL ≈ -1%

That's for April.
Had a huge loss on MES.
Was short 4MES @ 2880 on the way up.
Liquidated half on the 29th and the other half on the 30th.

Guess it's adaptation time.
I feel more confident after one week.

I am up 125$ - commissions today (1.52)
Went long 2MES @ 817. Took Profit @ 830.

Great experience overall.
Still have to improve my trading.
