While all the self righteous were saying , good ,LEH deserved to fail. it now seems the consensus that it was a terrible mistake.

It created a mood of complete distrust of all firms and banks. You can't be a little pregnant.

Dick Fuld must have really been hated.

Oh you are correct.

It would have been better it seems to prop LEH and cut Fulds balls off, and hang them on the Xmas Tree.

Lot's of innocent bystanders got reamed on that bankruptcy. This wised up the remaining 5.9 billion on the planet, and created the upheaval you see now.
