Seems like Al Qaeda has won the war..

Put all propaganda aside and look at this as David versus Goliath to the tenth power.

The Symbolism was obviously clear: Eliminate the World's Trade Centers and destroy the US economy and trade.

Al Qaeda allegedly only spent about $200K and sent a tiny army of about 20 men on a surprise attack to wage war... They successfully took out our World Trade Centers.... Attacked our Pentagon and effectively kicked our ass and humiliated our government.

Since 9/11 they have not had to do much since we are on a witch hunt against terror against virtually every brown skinned nation in the middle east. Systematically we have done all the work for them ourselves destroying our economy and way of life...

We clearly are not liberators... we have become criminals ambushing and killing innocent men, women and children under the guise of this undefined war against terror.

Our Military powers are an absolute embarrasment. Hundreds of billions of dollars spent of technology and weaponry and we can't even locate or win a fight against simpleton caveman hiding in afganastan...

We are now a society of fraudsters allegedly liberating the world and fighting these "terror loving terrorists" while accumulating debt that we can not possibly repay.

Does anyone know exactly who we are even fighting? By citizenship, name, country, currency... Stranger than fiction... ambiguous scape goat of terrorists... Now these phantom terrorists appear to be behind an unprecedented attack of wall street...
 
could be a big scam to spend billions of defense money and keep military over there while us oil companies build tons of sites and we protect them and build permanent air bases to protect them in the future,we need our oil,we would be done without it

Possible, but incredibly short-sighted.

A better strategy would be to open up Alaska and off-shore to oil drilling to lessen our dependence on foreign oil.

But, with the proviso that the savings go into alternative energy R&D with a goal to develop and ultimately own the post-oil industries for electricity and transportation. Not necessarily the cars, trucks, etc. but the power plants that go into them.

What's the deal w/this? I really doubt whoever these phantoms are they have enough money to manipulate our markets w/out sticking out like a sore thumb.

It all started w/housing. How do "Phantoms" figure into that?

I agree - it seems like al-Qaeda won... not because of their attacks, but rather by the mistakes made by the neo-conservatives and the "old-money" with Bush in their temptation to change the world back into their image.

In the end it seems like the neo-cons pushed so hard that they corrupted and polarized everything. Also, the life long lesson from domination, suppression and oppression - it finally collapses one day - because it is founded on being on top of the pyramid scheme, and that is not sustainable. A new pyramid always has to emerge...
 
These two schmo's babbling on at the moment ,one of which will be the next president,God help us,are the reason this economy is in the outhouse,both are guilty of allowing the present laws and loopholes to exist,and the demise spiral, and if it weren't an election year,nothing would have been done to try and stop it,does anything they are saying make you want to hire them to run the country for the next 4 years,what a load of crap they offered us for '08.

since 9/11 there have been 9 oil bases built in afghanistan and asia and since invasion of iraq there has been another 10 there,these are just facts

Phantom... Scapegoat... Politicians initially reported short selling terrorist attacks when they were trying to justify the wallstreet slide. Bunch of CNBC hyped BS... bunch of deers staring at the head lights and getting creamed.

We really need to look in a mirror at our governments own acts and actions and see what we have become... He who wins the war writes the history...

I don't know where you live, but in my town gas is 3x what it was on 9/11.

Lot of good those 19 oil bases have done for that...
