Someone in charge of 50m+ in revenue is primarily a manager, so his IP is secondary to his connections (or, if it's a team move, to his team). In any case, this one is primarily a discretionary macro strategy as you can see from the description (also, I think I saw this before and know the firm that hiring). That is an interesting job posting as they want you to come to the firm with your alpha generating strategy that has made 100 million. But to be hired with your strategy, that means you would have to own the IP, thus you are not currently a hired gun, therefor, why would you join this firm? What am I missing here?
PS. This said, many senior PMs own their IP and negotiate that aspect as part of their package.
