In 1997 -1998 a brilliant piece of commodity trading software developed in Australia was marketed. It contained all the indicators and waves and included buy sell recommendations for the EOD data for commodities. It was also good for stocks. It had an excellent scanning function for seeking out trades. Does anyone now of this software, remember its name and whether it is still available. Thanks!

It had an excellent scanning function for seeking out trades. Does anyone now of this software, remember its name and whether it is still available. Thanks!

What's it got that s/w today doesn't have? Someone could probably point you in the right direction to something better.
Hi Folks, Some one found the details for me, so thank you. The programmes were WinWave 32 and The Collective. The systems were excellent and the presentation was user friendly. However, the authors of the these programmes appear to have changed location and are not readily found by Google. There is a site, identified as a virus danger one, that gives details for the software and downloads. But the site appears to have viruses this dangerous unless one is an expert to avoid them.

Damn I am old, I have WinWave, I bought it a long time ago and just never could get it to make money well enough for my expectations. Maybe I have one of the early 1-30 versions ROFLMAO. I know I have it packed and buried in back of storage locker hoping it all burns down one day, LOL, along with the other 19 boxes of crap I have bought through my years, and to imagine I keep paying storage fees.....Maybe one day when I am 90yo and use two wheeler to haul out every PC since going back to 5.25 floppies A/B. gawd I almost broke my toes other day when damn old computer fell on my toe, they were so heavy back then, like 70 pounds and now you can play Frisbee with the laptops.
Yeah, I have the Collective too, what a HUGEEEEEE pile of crap that was, but hey we have to have a hobby and it was heavy enough to keep the door open...........
Hi Handle123, I enjoyed your post, dates me too! But I did enjoy both programs and in those days they worked for fairly well for me. Do you use any current software that works or will that too be headed for the storage? Any guidance to find something that really works with a bit of human intervention is worth knowing about. Thanks for the laugh!
