Secret anti-Trump donor revealed

Thank you, Nitro, for posting this minority viewpoint. It is necessary to hear from both sides of an issue. We can not count on official government positions to be disinterested, therefore we can't count on our governments to tell us the truth. But we can decide for ourselves what makes sense and what doesn't; which opinion or account rings truer according to the evidence and facts on hand....

this is scary... I don't like it coming from the democrats in the from of attacking conservatives and I don't like it from Trump... who is yet to be defined.

Its a free country and our leaders should be touting the rule of law and small govt. Not big powerful vengeful govt.

I will give trump one more shot at this... but its starting to be a little too chicago or new york machine politics for me.

But, seeing how the govt can be used by either side intimidate opponents should enlighten all these leftist drones into realizing why big govt is scary govt.

"Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, isn't happy that a member of the prominent Ricketts family has bankrolled an effort to thwart his campaign. And he took to Twitter on Monday to warn the Chicago Cubs owners to "be careful."

The family is "secretly spending $'s against me," Trump wrote. "They better be careful, they have a lot to hide!"..."

You are welcome. That video ranks in the top three videos I have ever seen.

I get what you're saying, but this business of using government to punish political opponents and criminalize policy disputes has been a one way street for way too long. There is a long list of republicans who have been prosecuted for made-up bogus crimes, eg Tom DeLay and Bob McDonnell.

The Ricketts want to make an enemy of Trump, they can expect some payback. If they're so concerned about Israel, how did they tolerate Obama?

"what America should be" is billionaires stop trying to buy elections. Either run for president yourself, or one man one vote.

Cubs' chairman: 'surreal when Donald Trump threatens your mom'

"MESA, Ariz. — Two days after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took a Twitter shot at the Ricketts family over the Cubs’ owners’ efforts to defeat him, Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts sounded like he’s still not sure what to make of it.

“It’s a little surreal when Donald Trump threatens your mom,” Ricketts said Wednesday during his annual spring training media session on the first workout days for the full squad.

“The fact is, whether it’s my mom or dad on his Ending Spending stuff, or my sister on marriage equality or my brothers what they do, or what we do as a team, we’re pretty much an open book. We stand up for what we believe in; we support the causes we think are important. That’s what America should be.”.."

Ben Carson criticizes Obama and immediately is subjected to a tax audit. No one in the media gives a crap. Some leftwing Chicago billionaire spends a fortune attacking Trump, then starts whining about Trump retaliating. Guy owns a baseball team but apparently doesn't understand the concept of hardball.

I can't wait to see Trump destroy this asshole.

Well you'll be pleased then to discover that there is at least one, real crime committed by DeLay for which he wasn't prosecuted. :D

from Wiki: [underlining is mine.]

"In early 1999, The New Republic picked up a story, first reported by Houston-area alternative weeklies, alleging that DeLay had committed perjury during a civil lawsuit brought against him by a former business partner in 1994.[55] The plaintiff in that suit, Robert Blankenship, charged that DeLay and a third partner in Albo Pest Control had breached the partnership agreement by trying to force him out of the business without buying him out. Blankenship filed suit, charging DeLay and the other partner with breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, wrongful termination, and loss of corporate expectancy. While being deposed in that suit, DeLay claimed that he did not think that he was an officer or director of Albo and that he believed that he had resigned two or three years previously.[9] However, his congressional disclosure forms, including one filed subsequent to the deposition, stated that he was either president or chairman of the company between 1985 and 1994. Blankenship also alleged that Albo money had been spent on DeLay's congressional campaigns, in violation of federal and state law. DeLay and Blankenship settled for an undisclosed sum. Blankenship's attorney said that had he known about the congressional disclosure forms, he would have referred the case to the Harris County district attorney's office for a perjury prosecution."

You recycle 30 year old gossip about DeLay tossed out by a disgruntled former partner but the IRS jumping on Carson right after he confronted Obama just strikes you as good government at work? Oh I forgot, you're the guy who thought the other IRS scandal was just some conscientious civil servants doing their jobs.

You're very annoyed at the Planned Parenthood videos however. I suppose you think prosecuting investigative journalists for exposing them is also good policy.

ps. Since you are so affronted by DeLay's poor memory, I will assume you think Hillary should have been indicted for perjury and obstruction. She is the original "I don't recall..."
