Few years ago I went back for another Finance Class even though I'am getting ancient in days! Our Case Study was "Knight Trimark Rogue Server", you all remember when Knight could not find their Server driving up stocks? Problem is with Knight they were not "Too Big Too Fail", all great points but any of us old enough to remember Emulex Debacle know there's big money creating chaos. Was it Two or Three years ago some of us bought ETFs, AAPL($90), FB($81) and many more when the Exchanges when nuts?
Honestly with Equifax it was such a easy fix, they knew this issue existed and they were too stupid to repair it. Thinking about the Hedge Funds "scraping" Twitter's Earnings Release before everyone else got that data, things will get interesting no doubt!
