SEC fees changes?

I had a couple hundred extra dollars in my account and I couldn't figure out where it came from.

Did the SEC fees change, because I notice that the fees I was charged yesterday were alot lower than normal.

or does it phase out after you hit a certain amount?
 
https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-15 Consequently, each self-regulatory organization will continue to pay the Commission a rate of $22.90 per million dollars for covered sales occurring on charge dates through February 26, 2023, and a rate of $8.00 per million dollars for covered sales occurring on charge dates on or after February 27, 2023.
