I don't think the show does him any justice. REnting ferraris and spots out in the Hamptoms shows little about his work ethic.

Why didn't the show follow him to Egypt....? May have been more exciting that following the young lady to Paris, and then back to NY.

Moreover, with all the people or Potential Investors he has met over the course of the show....his assets under management should have grown a bit.

It certainly could have, I would not expect an update on his AUM every episode. "On this episode Brett manages a 102.3 million dollar fund..."

I believe #8 was the last episode, I would have liked an update at the end to say what happened to Lance and the rest of the cowboys.

I must have missed that episode....

I know most traders both on the floor and on the desk, work and endure what we all go through, so that they can make the "woman" happy (i.e. girlfriend(s), wife, mothers, families, etc.)

I also know from B School that reputable and substantive companies almost always conduct serious business negotiations with their Lieutenants, Second in command, Executive Officer / Assistants or otherwise present, just to make sure of continuity, consistency in business presentation and other legal reasons.

So, again, where is this guy's Lt's?, if indeed his companies are really what they suggest they are.

So, again, why he woking so hard and doing all those meetings if all there are, are empty nest apartments and rental beach houses to come home to? What's the purpose? What is being built?

Just doesn't seem to add up, and we traders are a critical bunch, as evidenced by the comments mentioned thus far.

It seems like these relationships with companies and clients are already established. Brett just checks up on them. The real work thats done by the private equity fund managers is way too boring for tv. I wouldn't be surprised if the fund picks up the tab for his cars and house in the hamptons specifically because they want him to have that appearance because his job is just maintaining relationships.
 
I'm surprised this has gone on for 108 pages, and I'm the first person to bring up the fact that Brett looks like a young Baba Booey from the Howard Stern Show. :confused:
 
Just watched another episode. Is it just me, or do the offices of FXCM look like they could be folded up like a 3-card-monty table and poof....... I guess, based on their website, I expected more?
I must be in the stone-age, all their analysts look like an MTV reality show.
