SEASON 2, thursday TV WALLSTREET WARRIORS

Quote from LessOnLeeson:

Choosing FXCM... wow. I'm speechless.

Guess you have to give her credit for pursuing a dream, but she looks pretty stupid doing it. IMO she should take the Paris job and grind it out for a few yrs, network, make some cash, learn the markets w/out pressure, etc.

We knew the sndk boys were gonna be bag holders

Brett, no comment

Do any of you know if reality tv pays its participants to be on it.

Very little if anyting but they use the spotlight to get other jobs or gigs.... Tim Sykes for example.

Quote from th3414:

I don't want to be argumentative, but do you know how many Wharton, Stanford, and Harvard MBAs in finance are trading on the street?

The days of Joey bag-a-donuts working his way up from operations to a desk putting on $30-50 million dollar bond trades at a time died with Bear Stearns.

Finance degrees are what get you the REAL trading jobs, not scalping the minis for a few bucks.

You don't have to believe me, but I've done both. prop trading now cause I got laid off and interviewers at the bulge brackets want MBAs and finance degrees now.

now you can make it the ole fashion way

build it, just like the Morgans, Lehmans, Barney's, etc....

don't regret getting down in the trenches with the likes of us traders,

lift yourself up again, and staff your own firm.....

here's the challenge, building out the back office....

Her rack though as someone mentioned was indeed nice. Also her sister looked cute at times. ...

I want to scream to her to stop embarassing her school since she comes across as smart as any high school graduate.

let me turn / tune up my HDTV and hit the 4x magnify button,

I just don't see your point...:D

hey, uptik2000, what dis guy talkin 'bout?

Quote from Mike Okistini:

Cmon guys stop being silly. The exchange rate is meaningless, SHE WOULD BE LIVING IN PARIS!!!!!! duh! If she is paid in Euros is she paying her rent and buying food in Paris in Dollars??? Lot of you keep making the same statement.

Whether the job is good or not who knows but to say you @#$% around in your 20s and 30s is pretty bad. Then in your 40s you had fun and have shit to show for it. College is for living it up. She works hard for a few years and then writes her own ticket and makes good money. It is called smart for her future and responsible. She is not a trader so this job was the best thing for her.

Wrong because she would be living with her parents so free living and free dinners and breakfast. So she could save A LOT and then go back to NYC in 3 years and convert it to USD.

Yes. And then her parents have something else to bitch about if she takes that merchant banking gig... the long hours and lack of social life.

Her parents are way too protective.

Doing that kind of work, you definitely don't want to be living with your parents. Speaking from personal experience.

LOL dude she would never see her family except on the occasional weekend. They'd be asleep by the time she gets home and she'd be on her way to work before they woke up.
