Searching for the Best Platform

Newbie Alert!!!

I am considering implementing what I envision to be a mostly automated trading system. I was hoping to get opinions on what some of you feel are the better trading platforms on the market, both retail and pro, mainly with regard to efficiency and speed of execution. Thank you all in advance.
 
Look into Neoticker http://www.tickquest.com. Probably one of the most complete suites around for analysis and automation for retail people like us.

You will need to invest months if not years of your time though. The manual alone is thousands of pages and it's just the beginning.
