Sean Hannity, who downplayed Covid, urges viewers to 'take it seriously' "I can’t say it enough. Eno

I don’t know, something is going on with the republicans and right wing media in the last 24 hours they seem to have gotten on message about vaccines. There’s tea leaves here to read, I’m just not sure if this is a transition into cover for the mid terms or they got some bad information of what the Fall will look like if vaccination rates stay flat. Either way, when these guys start changing on a dime my spidey sense goes off.

This is what's going on.

I can dig up quotes like that from Pelousi, Fauchi. de Blasio,

Fine... start a thread about them... you defended Shit Hannity...I am not defending those other ass clowns. Fucklosi was telling everyone to come out to Chinatown and ignore the virus...

Do't give fucktard Hannity a pass as he is king among the assholes.

Cons give the best clown shows.

Hannity has become a hypocrite. Just another moron for the right. He used to be a bit more moderate when he was with Colmes back in the late 1990s, before many people on this forum were born.

Welp, he has become an asshole. Kids, F Hannity. He's now a shill for stupid.

Most likely the White House told FOX News that there would be significant consequences for continuing to push anti-vaxxer nonsense. All the FOX Hosts including Hannity all changed their tune on the same day.

Despite the denials coming out of FOX --- it is pretty clear that the Biden administration got out the paddle and beat FOX's rear until they complied.

Fox News Denies Story Claiming ‘High-Level’ Talks With White House on Covid Coverage

CNN reported on Tuesday that there have been “regular, high-level conversations” between the Biden administration and Fox News over the network’s covid-19 coverage. Fox News denied that report and a CNN correspondent said later in the day that “both sides have subsequently disputed the discussions were” high-level.

Fox has gotten a lot of attention for anti-vaccine commentary by hosts like Tucker Carlson. In recent days, others on Fox News have encouraged people to get vaccinated.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and Brian Stelter reported Tuesday on talks between the network and the White House:

There have been regular, high-level conversations between the White House and Fox News regarding their coverage of the pandemic and vaccines, a source familiar with the talks tells CNN…

The person who confirmed the conversations cautioned there has been no singular conversation that has played a role in Fox’s coverage of Covid-19. Throughout the pandemic, officials have regularly reached out to Fox News about their Covid-19 coverage. While White House officials often reach out to television networks and other news outlets about their coronavirus coverage, but this outreach is notable given Fox News’ past coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fox News denied the report in a statement provided to New York Times media correspondent Michael Grynbaum.

“CNN’s reporting is inaccurate,” the statement said. “There have been no high level conversations between FOX News Media and the White House regarding our coverage. We had one routine briefing with the White House in early May on vaccination rates and our DC bureau personnel are regularly in touch with them on a variety of issues, as is the case with every other network.”

Fox News host Sean Hannity, who has spent considerable airtime downplaying the effects of Covid-19, urged his viewers Monday to "take it seriously."

"Please take Covid seriously. I can’t say it enough. Enough people have died. We don’t need any more death," he said. "Research like crazy. Talk to your doctor, your doctors, medical professionals you trust based on your unique medical history, your current medical condition, and you and your doctor make a very important decision for your own safety."

After highlighting the importance of "medical privacy" and "doctor-patient confidentiality," Hannity added: "And it absolutely makes sense for many Americans to get vaccinated. I believe in science, I believe in the science of vaccination."

Fake News. He has been saying that since the beginning.

This, of course is false. Sean Hannity never ever called the virus a hoax. He called the politicization of the virus by Democrats as a hoax to hurt Trump. Please quit posting falsehoods.

As per the article -- the lawsuit literally quotes Hannity calling COVID a hoax.

'One example involved Fox News personality Sean Hannity saying, “They’re scaring the living hell out of people, and I see it as, like, ‘Oh, let’s bludgeon Trump again with this new hoax.”'
