Sean Hannity is a client of Michael Cohen. Discuss.

I think the issue here is the fact that in the U.S., lawyer attorney at law and counselor at law are the same thing... in other countries they are not necessarily the same person.

Most intuitively think of a lawyer as an Attorney where he or she is hired to as a representative in court or with others.

However, lawyers also acts as counselors. Sometimes counselors are trial lawyers but they can also just be giving legal advice.

Hannity could be telling the truth.
Cohen never acted as his representative but he may have given him advice.
 
Forget the sleaze ball stuff, Sean Hannity went on a news network night after night and defended Cohen without disclosing he was a client of Cohen’s.
 
Hannity contradicts himself in stating he was never "hired" yet he may have paid him. I have every canceled check for every billable hour covered. Some more meat for the grinder.

Why was Cohen trying so hard to not disclose the third client if it was all so innocent?

Cohen asks a judge to quash materials seized by the FBI related to his client Sean Hannity. Hannity says "I'm not a client of his, he's just a guy I know". So either Hannity is lying, or Cohen lied to a Federal Judge. Neither scenario looks great for anyone.

Imagine if Obamas lawyer was under criminal investigation and it came out his other client was Rachel Maddow who had been on tv every day attacking law enforcement for investigating the dirty lawyer?

I'm sure the Trump cult would call that a nothing burger. Cons would lynch obama and impeach him. Sniveling hypocrites
