It would be helpful to know more about the tick charts (settings, etc.) you are using in your fine control. Your blog refers to "the sweep paper". Where would I find this sweep paper? I'm out of the loop on your latest docs so excuse me if you've referenced its location previously. Thanks for the excellent thread.
I'll pop the sweeps pdf on here when I get home from office.
If you are on tradestation Doug will send you the volume bouncing balls for YM and ES. Also we have the str/squ charting on tradestation, we coded it after MAK's model. Or go to stalker thread and pick up the .xls verson of str/squ that MAK did.
We pull the ticks from IQ feed (DTM) or IB feed. and software display is Medved Quote Tracker. With the YM 2 min on top of the ES five min for one screen on the left top to bottom.
The DOM, in the form of a button is on top with blue DOM volume as stalagtites read center to extremes. The str/squ is under the stalagtites.
The sweeping is a facilty skill training exercise. I do it on gotomeeting (or skype) by running ahead of he market so people eyes can get to the right places just in time.
We are getting a used advertising agency eye movement monitoring machine so videos of the screens can show how I "look" as I sweep during real time during market hours. The recordings of this will go to video.google.com as a parallel to the blogspot news.
All of this will also be part of the bootcamp stuff and the interactive website part of the HU stuff as well.
All of the sweeps will be going on to the SCT log using drop downs for the monitoring columns. The drop downs are being coded this weekend.
Also I am commencing to use the nuance.com version 9 fed by a digital Olympus DVR for narrating the debriefings. That is news so it will be going to the blog.
