When I talked to Cybertrader reps at last year's Traders Expo, they said that the Schwabtrader and StreetSmartPro platforms were at the level Cybertrader was 3 years previous.
When I looked at the Cybertrader CT demo, it looked substantially the same as StreetSmartPro (which I've used for a few years) - really the only thing missing was the menu choice that brings up a web page with a stock's fundamentals and analyst research - and looking at schwabtrader.com, it looks like they're just giving everyone StreetSmartPro now.
StreetSmartPro has top 10, high/low, sector tool, a list of open and completed trades, news, a simpler screener than Cybertrader, and 3 windows with either level II stock quotes/T&S or level I options.
Cybertrader offers more level II windows, I'm told, as well as level II options, hammer, cyberquant screener, a number of ticker tools, order flow tools, ecn books, and some account management tools more suitable for day traders (open positions, options pairing, trade stats).
And you can trade futures at Cybertrader.
At one point, Schwabtrader did not allow you to direct orders for listed stocks; this may have changed.
