Barry Hussein ran on campaign promises to latinos in 2008 to immediately address migration issues if he were to be elected. Then, as with trump, he was not only elected but took both houses. So, how did that plan to immediately address immigration through legislation work out for him. Oh, that's right. He did nothing and later incurred the wrath of Hispanics by saying that he wanted to do it but he did not realize that Obamacare was going to be so difficult. Nice. And then by the time he got around to thinking about he had lost the House.
So, yeh, Trump is taking hits out on the front lines of stepping up to the issue and will not get some things, just as he took hits with with tax reform. But your ilk is no position to be getting uppity as though you and your clowns would have done better. Trump sucks if he cant get all of the wall plan? Really, well, how that plan to get immigration reform legislation work out for Obama over eight years in office? Oh I see. He was resting up for the big lift that never came. And yes, I know that after the first couple years he had more republican opposition. Poor baby. He was elected by convincing people that he was the Baby Jesus who could do anything. Meanwhile, trump leaned right into immigration issues from day one- even if the going got rough. And still is.
So Trump is properly subject to criticism where he will fall short on campaign promises, but not from the Do-Nothing Party- that created this whole DACA mess/"solution" that really was just a plan to put a Band-Aid on it and let it be Hillary's problem.
