Loudoun County sheriff accuses the school board of 'firing people up and calling cops to clean it up' after 'extraordinary' request for 65 officers at their August meeting
  • A June 22 meeting of Loudoun County school board, in Virginia, descended into chaos with fists flying and multiple arrests
  • Ahead of the August 10 meeting, the superintendent of the school board requested a heavy security presence from the sheriffs' office
  • The sheriff replied, calling the request 'extraordinary' and saying that the superintendent had failed to provide any justification for the policing
  • In a follow-up letter, a spokesman for the sheriffs' office said that the sheriff felt they were being used as the enforcers of the school board's policies
  • The spokesman said the sheriff was concerned the school board was limiting freedom of speech and they were deliberately inflaming the situation
  • The August 10 meeting went off without a hitch, but only 10 members of the public were allowed in to the meeting at a time to speak

  • 'He's a 15-year-old boy that wanted to have sex in the bathroom, with somebody that was willing,' she said
  • She said her son is trying to 'find himself' by wearing a skirt one day, and pants the next for attention he 'desperately' sought
  • 'First of all, he is not transgender,' she said. 'And I think this is all doing an extreme disservice to those students who actually identify as transgender'
  • But she admits that her son is deeply troubled and has a history of misbehavior that included sending nude photos of himself to a girl in fifth grade
  • He has also been charged with sexually assaulting another girl in October
  • She insists that the public is 'twisting this just enough to make it a political hot button issue'
