None of us is running for public office. We are entitled to express ourselves anonymously and choose to do so for many reasons.

I am hardly ashamed of any opinion I've expressed here, and you can rest assured they are shared by many of my friends and family, most in fact. Unfortunately, we have to live in a society where PC thugs have disproportionate power and it is foolish to ignore that.

There is also an asymmtery in the way progressives/marxists and conservatives deal with dissent. Conservatives generally engage in reasoned debate. Progressives invariably, as you have done, go immediately to name-calling and labelling, and if that isn't adequate, they feel free to resort to violence or vandalism. Of course, they do so secure in the knowledge that the authorities, eg the spinless adminstrators at our univiersites, will protect them. If a conservative gets into a confrontation, they are likely to end up charged with terrorism or hate pseech, like the good ole boys with their Confederate flags did.

The fact that this P&R attracts numerous posters of a similar nature gives you a false sense of security about your words and actions. As I stated very clearly, let's get your stated beliefs out to the public. Let them judge, let those who claim to care about you and those who employ you judge your words objectively.

In reality, I do nothing of the sort. P&R here is pretty much my only exposure to pure bred racism. Luckily I lived in Canada, and we don't have this problem at all. Some of you think you can disparage groups of people day and night under flimsy premises, yet you claim I'm flaunting moral superiority ? You should be embarrassed by your conduct here, yet you revel in it.

I am 100% correct that many of you ( yes, you are most definitely included ) would have negative consequences if your family, friends, and employers could see word for word what you post on this site. That's not on me, that's on you. Nobody made you post that stuff and a real man or woman takes accountability for their actions.

If you truly believe what you post, you should be happy to get your word out there. Period.

I talk to my friends and family about this all the time. Except for my sister and her husband who god bless their hearts are extreme PC socialists like u, Everyone is in complete agreement. U do realize that statistics exist and people have been categorized on those statistics based on race? U do realize that right ? This isn't some leap of faith or racial epithetic tirade. People have actually measured how well black people fair and by and large it's not well compared to everyone else. Being a person who cares about this u may actually want to examine the facts and investigate why they exist. Instead of pretending that they don't because ur incapable of fathoming anything but ur delusional worldview.

The charter-school industry — consisting of schools that are funded partly by tax dollars but run independently — is rife with the same types of fraud and mismanagement that led to the Enron collapse, according to a study published by three education researchers.

"Unscrupulous individuals and corporations are using their control over charter schools and their affiliates to obtain unreasonable management fees for their services and funnel money intended for charter schools into other business ventures," the study says.

The Enron scandal involves the now infamous bankruptcy filing that shook the financial world in 2001. The Texas-based energy company's precipitous downfall came after executives at the company used accounting loopholes and special purpose entities (SPE) to mask business failures.

Enron's CFO Andrew Fastow created SPEs that were managed by him and his associates, though not disclosed to shareholders. These related-party transactions, therefore, went unscrutinized until it was too late.

One example the study points to is of Ivy Academia Charter School, a Los Angeles-area charter school co-founded by husband-wife duo Yevgeny Selivanov and Tatyana Berkovich. Selivanov and Berkovich also owned a private preschool in the area, which subleased the campus where the charter school was located. Through this relationship, the private preschool was able to increase the monthly rent payment from $18,370 to $43,870, without issue.

The charter school, which received public tax-payer money, therefore was paying a private company more money without changing a single aspect of its instruction for students. Selivanov was sentenced to nearly five years in state prison in 2013.

The study asserts that these types of behaviors hurt students and that so-called gatekeepers, like the Department of Education and charter school authorizers, must do more to prevent this type of abuse.

The authors of the study have previously written critically about oversight in the charter industry.
