Between 5 pm to 5:30 pm today (Pacific Time) - I will do a Webinar. I will be showing how to trade what I call a Range Condition. A Range Condition is when Price goes Sideways. In my early days - I lost a lot of money - trying to figure out the Breakout of a Sideways move - especially when it lasted for an Hour or more. When I finally developed the Range Condition - it became one of my favorite ways to trade. And - it is really Simple.

If there is anyone interested - let me know - either in the Forum - or Skype. This is a total Freebie - NO Sale Pitch. I use my Algos most of the time now - but once in a while - I will still trade the Range Condition.

Hey VST.... we talked over a year ago so not sure if you remember me. What struck me at the time was how similarly we were looking at the markets by way of using a fast chart, and just looking for support and resistance areas. But I gotta say, my feeling after talking for hours was that your fills just weren't realistic. The areas where your algo showed a 1 tick profit could be taken I think were impossible when price reversed quickly. Its too easy to say you can get 10 ticks profit when it goes in your favor, but also say you get out break even or 1 tick profit when it goes against you.

So I'm curious to ask if you have any stats on your live trades, or if anyone else has been able to practice this live. I find that price blows through support and resistance far too often and I find your charts and stats from the algo forward testing do not take this into account. So any real world experience that you can share or from anyone else?

Hell - I don't remember who I am - most of the time - getting Old Heimers - the brother of Alzheimers. In my middle 70's now. I think trading - and coding - helps keep my old brain working.

You are more than welcome to come into Skype or a Zoom Room sometime - watch the Algos - got nothing to hide. Personally - for my own trading - I trade my Algos - Discretionary - and much Slower now. With my Algos - using Large Range Bars - say you see a Green Arrow to Buy - I wait until Price goes a couple Ticks - Below the Arrow - trying to get rid of Slippage - and it works great - most of the time. Also - with the Large Range Bar - I may get more than One - Scalp Trade per Bar. Also - with the Larger Range Bars - I go after quite a few more Ticks - NOT just the 2 ticks like I did on the faster bars. You will have to see it. I am not trading as much now - as I have some big money Clients - who Lease my Algos - so I don't really need to trade. I am NOT selling anything - NOT working with Retail traders. By the way - if a Trader wants to come into the Room - to Test what I am saying - they can go into Simulator Mode - try it for themselves. I say Simulator - because I don't want to be responsible for anyone losing Real Money in the Test.

I mentioned awhile back - in this thread - that I actually traded Live - with Real Money - at 2 Traders Expos - and in the 2nd Expo - the owner of NinjaTrader - Ray - and one of the owners of the former Mirus Futures - Eliot - were in my booth - so I have a couple very good witnesses - that I in fact - did trade Real Money - as traders stopped at my booth - and I did that for 4 trading days. So - unlike a lot of Indicator PIMPS out there - I did at least - Scalp Trade - in front of traders.

Again - NOT selling anything - so - if I have time - traders are more than welcome to come into a Skype or Zoom Room and watch. I encourage traders to try trading the Signals - but in Simulator Mode - don't just take my word for it.

Thanks for the reply. I would love to see the algo trading live in the market, is that possible? I want to see if the fills are possible. Also, because I trade the MES, I'm sure the fills would be a bit difficult because I do see that sometimes it overshoots by a few ticks. I use ES for all the analysis, but the trades are placed in MES. I realize this would cause a bit of an issue with fills at specific prices. Anyway, I will see if I have a day next week where I am free all morning to watch it live.
