Scalping with Oanda , any problem ?

It's been a bit better today, maybe they've adjusted it slightly....
That video above doesn't bother me at all.
What does bother me is getting disconnected or having my orders delayed.
The lagging quotes above are just a graphical glitch (at least on the surface). As long as I'm filled where the market is at (instant execution) is all I really care about.

I agree with you up to a point, but as customers aren't we entitled to both? In such a competitive business why do we have to accept anything but the very best in service and facilities?
As traders we need very little from the broker, competitive executable quotes, a reliable and functional platform, and efficient technical/account support when we need it.
None of that should be beyond even the most basic broker, after all it's what their business is all about.
Except for FXManager I would vote with my feet and be off to greener pastures, Oanda sucks in pretty much every area of the business!

I don't disagree.
But this lag isn't something that is ongoing. At best it's an anomaly that seems to happen sometimes when there is sudden volatility.
I've tried a couple other brokers and the problems were far greater and occurred more often for me than dealing with the occasional lag or disconnect at Oanda.

You can open an account with any dollar amount. Just open it up and give it a whirl.
And I'll add, the biggest problem scalping with Oanda, is most people don't know how to scalp.
