scalping the e-mini

it wont --- he was already with eLocal using TM so everything is the same for him just now dealing with only one company.

TM has some additional new features that should be shown at the Trade Expo so i think this will turn out to be a good merger {you need capital to expand and compete}.

Quote from optioncoach:

I started scalping with the E-mini ES last month just 1 contract at a time until I got my "system" down and then moved to 5 contracts and now I am doing 10 contracts per trade. I basically look for 1 point a day based on some indicators and when I get it I pretty much back off unless I see another perfect set-up.

1 point a day with 10 contracts is $500 on $40,000 margin. SO basically everyday I am just turning that same $40,000 margin over and over. I am still fine-tuning my exits and entries but that is the easiest part. It is the daily discipline that I am trying to hone so I can consistently do this.

So I believe it can be done consistently but it aint easy. My goal is just 1 point a day/$500 a day. I have about 3 indicators I use, including the TICK and 1 and 5 minute charts so it requires you to glue your eyes to the screen!

how is this working for your 5 years later?...seriously

I think easy rider hit it right with the ym lead. alittle sluggish though than id like to see.

The market has changed considerably since easyrider posted his opinion.

Do you have any stats to support the YM lead info ?

No stats, but i like to refrence $tick for a positive and negative bias to the ES , and noticed how the YM seems to lead the ES almost regularly, in my veiw anyway.
