i am new in scalping but that doesnot mean i am impressed with manipulative & deceptive trading technique.

and i am not the only one. there was a poster who also said he doesnot like this kind of trading. AMITMAN, he wrote this: "that's really depends on your scalping style but it's obvious that's taking big sizes in and out very quickly without gettin' to much slippage is much easier with very liquid stocks. It's true though thats if your scalping style invovles with taking other people's stops out then you'll do better with less liquid stocks. I myself don't fell comfortable with making people lose money intentioally."

if you are so talented in trading, do you need to be that desperate to the point you have to use that deceptive/manipulative technique? if you are that good as you say you are then please go & trade AAPL, you can make a lot of millions there, THIS IS WHAT I MEAN, understand?

Who cares what you are impressed with! Get over yourself Kitty, this isnt about you. The markets trade with deception, whether or not you will practice these techniques yourself isnt the issue. Stop saying that scalping an honest way is some sort of benevolent task. We are all here to make money, we are all here to take money from other traders. This isnt a charity business, we dont walk old ladies across the streets or hold doors open for pretty women. Dont fool yourself into thinking that you do things the "right way". Traders who have been around the block are going to walk right over you every chance they get. They are going to squeeze the shit out of your positions until you puke yours up, then they are going to take all your shares, and rip it.

You got a lot to learn young lady. You think you know what its like to swim with the sharks but you have no idea. Get ready to get your "learn" on.

so, what you are saying is that in order to be successful, every trader needs to use this manipulation technique?

i don't think so. some prop firms traders ... they can make excellent earning but they don't do none of what you folks are saying.

why do i know that?
because their firms don't allow them to trade illiquid stocks, most stocks they trade are highly liquids, big caps.
and manipulation trading is not acceptable to the firms because the managers don't want the SEC all over them.

you folks can do these things because you trade by yourself, correct?

so, you think you are helpful to new traders but actually you are not. we can't use manipulation-trading nor &we can't trade illiquid stocks, PERIOD! but yes, we have learned about faked bid/ask/manipulation out there at L2...ect. we don't fall for them.

I don't see how it's manipulation if I put in an order with intent to get filled... when I get filled that gives me information which can be worth paying for. I never place an order I don't intend to get filled so I sleep very well at night.

Kitty, you say that just reading the market maker and going along with him (instead of taking the next step - trying to be one yourself) is ethical, but the market maker is using manipulative tactics to take money from other traders. Going alongside him while he takes money from retail traders (i.e. taking away people's liquidity in anticipation of the market maker making a directional move) through manipulation, is somehow ethical, while just playing MM yourself isn't? get real.
 
OMG, it just dawned on me. I think Kitty1996 is that girl from Wall Street Warriors 2. The one who is being trained to scalp at SMB in New York City. She's actually quite attractive.
 
NY0BScalpe, we learn how the MM manipulate L2 so we can avoid falling into his traps. we follow the big buyer/big seller to make money. this is what we are allowed to do, we are not allowed to do the actually manipulation.

i know you are the best trader here.
