My exp. is somewhat the same. Started hyper scalping (600-1200 RTs/24hrs) with the TT machines, but found more net profit in trying to relax with 50-100 RTs/24hrs with a gain of 2 full points. Due to both a huge number less of scratches + ofc the comission

My goal for the most part is just to figure out how to make money on such high frecuency trading, and to learn as much as I can from it, like the advantages of trading in that manner vs trading at a lower frecuency for larger moves... Learning how to feel the market so that I can tighten my entry points... I dont plan on becoming rich on this method, but it´ll be much fun to learn, since I like being very active in the market.
 
i assure you few few people can make money hyper scalping in futures. the commissions and slippage will eat you alive.even with 14 cent commish at swift you still have the $2.32 r/t exchange fee's. so lets say you do 500 r/t's a day thats over 1k commish a day.your only chance and its even small is to get a leased seat or even ownship and pay around 40 cent r/t. learn to position trade and be more profitable and much happier

$ 2.32 r/t even if he trades in a prop firm ??

and in case of a leased seat 40 cents r/t ? no other charges ?

Anyone (or joeyata1) has a second opinion on this ?

Please clarify this will help me a lot since I plan to trade these products soon.
