Your well worn contention that i am a hoax is a sure sign you enjoy my posts and do indeed learn from them.

My objective has always been to help, O, sure i can be a little short now and then but that is the way i am. People that always piss and moan about others are in my opinion more jealous than understanding.

Try new shorts, get a bigger size, something is holding you down son.

PS, i do not intend to get in a tit for tat with you either, go play with your toys yourself............... :eek:

My intention in starting the thread wasn't merely complaining, "boo hoo, the market beat me up and stole my lunch money!"

I really wanted to compare thoughts with other traders who are out there grinding every day. Maybe we can all benefit from the dialogue.

I'm certainly not blaming computers or specialists or Goldman Sachs or the market in general. Those who wish to extract my $ from my trading account didn't just show up two weeks ago.

I think everyone trading has gone through periods where their strategies just aren't optimal for market conditions. You either adjust, or you are bled dry and thereby forced to adjust.

My strategy has been working the past week and a half. I am reading up on news and lining up a stock to trade and get in right after the am bell.. I make money on that trade and by 11am i try and sit on my hands. I might make a few scalps and prob wind up loosing them. Then I await earnings reports or see whats making a final move about 3:30. The pm bell is a bit more schizo and i might make money 60% of the time. After the bell i wait for some eth plays. When I get into these trades I am very patient and make money. If I still have some energy I will trade the Cramer picks at 6. He moves stocks here and there on his show. After 4 I drink some beer while i sit and wait. It's relaxing.
 
found the first half of september to be a real struggle. the second half brought back some volatility into the mkt, which helped my cause, but something still feels a little off.

all that aside, i see tonnes of money flash in front of my face day in and day out, so i'm pretty sure it's still a 'me' problem and not a computers are ruining the mkt. problem..
