eh....I'm not sure the 1400 figure is in dispute but a lot of the atrocities are. Wiki has a so-so breakdown, though as anyone can edit, I expect a revising battle is on-going. A clear example is one instance of Blinken being "shown evidence" of a lot of heinous shit except when going to the article, it's just a recounting (doesn't say he witnessed the evidence plus other details added not in the article). Another one is the rapes, saying first responders have witnessed multiple signs of it but no coroner reports have been provided.

No Israeli family victim owes skeptics anything and I am 100% willing to take first responders' words on this but let's not turn a blind eye to the fact that Israeli government just outright lies and would be willing to put up "witnesses" on camera to push narratives.

There is no time during any Blitzkrieg like mission to rape women. This should compute even in the mind of a child. How many ate out of the hands of the lying Israeli military commando is beyond my comprehension. The media was 100% complicit in this crime. In my book this complicity is way more damaging than any other crime that was committed. Here is why: murder, as heinous as it is, will be forgotten by most who are not directly impacted, but hundreds of millions of people lost every last inch of trust in all the media outlets who were complicit and reported on women raped and babies shot point blank. This will not be forgotten and humanity at large loses all their trust in institutions and media. This is why nobody holds anyone accountable anymore, because it is incredibly tiring. Easier to just let go and stick to one's own group that can be trusted.

My first thoughts on the rapes was "operational vulnerability" more so than putting it past the assholes to do it. Per wiki though, captured Hamas were told to rape and mutilate (haven't checked source) and in my opinion since reports of Gazan hooligans pouring in were also out there, I could see said hooligans taking the opportunity to loot, rape, and desecrate.
