Hamas has been shooting rockets from locations directly outside hospital buildings -- just feet away. Hamas has also been shooting at Palestinian civilians trying to flee and IDF forces from hospital grounds. The reality is that the IDF response near hospitals has been pretty restrained -- they have surrounded the hospitals and have not returned fire towards the buildings. If the IDF response was not restrained then the hospital buildings would be rubble at this point.
