Ukraine gets nothing to lose. So they want to drag as many nations into this as possible. Canada won't do anything. And Biden said clearly that he won't do it. Even though he is old. He is still clear that he does not want to start a WW III.
Also, ask yourself. What is the end of the game, or the end of war? Russia will never be destroyed. All the billions of $$$ will only prolong the war. More resources will be burnt and more people will die. It is madness and senseless.
Now Ukraine president said Ukraine won't join NATO since he does not see that Ukraine will get into NATO. NATO won't fight to save Ukraine. That was exactly what Russia requested. Both Biden and Ukraine said NO.

It's a combined defense thingy. You attack one NATO member, you have attacked them all. And if article 5 is invoked, then all NATO countries respond in kind. It's a bad deal. It worked out for the USA on 9/11, but that was not against a nuclear power. Ug
