You're right, I don't deal in an imaginary world. In the real world, we export apples, grapes, cucumbers... all grown using U.S. land and U.S. water. We export cars to Japan from factories owned by Japanese companies made of steel mined in the U.S. and smelted with U.S. coal, the list goes on and on the encompass almost any conceivable natural resource or product of a natural resource. In some cases the factories/land/mines are owned by U.S. companies, in some cases multinationals, in some cases foreign countries, in most cases a combination of all of the above. In none of these cases do I feel that the countries we're exporting to are in any way "stealing" anything from us. But apparently the Saudi's are doing doing something nefarious by exporting hay, of all things you've decided to make a stand on hay, grown in the U.S. Seriously? Can you broaden my imagination with how this is something we should all be worried about?
